Elvari KB’s handling of personal data

On May 25, 2018, the new Personal Data Act will enter into force (GDPR). Elvari KB has adapted its handling of personal data to comply with the new law. This document describes Elvari KB’s policy and is intended to be distributed to those customers who request information about the handling of personal data. Elvari KB is person responsible for personal data for the personal data contained in our records and will ensure that the data is processed correctly. Personal data is all information that can be linked directly or indirectly to a natural person. Examples of personal data are the name, social security number, postal address and e-mail address of a natural person.

The personal data we collect is only necessary to enable us to administer, meet and fulfill the obligations we have towards our customers. In many cases, we also handle personal information that belongs to our customers’ staff. In those cases, we are personal information assistants and the customer is ultimately responsible for the safe handling of these personal data. Elvari KB limits access to all customer information in our systems so that they can only be accessed by those who really need. Those who have access to the customer’s information are only those who actively work with the client’s mission and technical support. We do this for the customer to feel confident that no unauthorized person receives information that they are not entitled to and that the customer should know that his / her responsibility as personally responsible for your company is met. Easier contact information to the customer, such as invoice and e-mail address, is available to all employees to facilitate our contact routes.
